B. Sherrod stands at the base of a scarp formed along the Denali fault near the headwaters of the Slana River. At this site the west side of a creek bank revealed 2.9 +/- 0.2m of right-lateral slip and the top of the snow cover revealed a displacement of 0.88 +/- 0.1m, up to the north. Site DS04, km 166.4.
