A Spruce tree root is offset 6.8 +/- 0.1m right-laterally across a fissure (same fissure as Site DS22) along the Denali fault. Vertical slip is 1.2 +/- 0.02m, up to the south. Cracks in the ground nearby likely imply that the slip measurement is a minimum. Site DS23, km 227.2. Photo by T. Dawson.
