View southeast of a right-laterally offset stream bank edge at Cooper Creek, at the southeastern extent of the Totschunda fault. Offset is 0.65 +/- 0.25m, right-lateral, and 0.25 +/- 0.1m, up to the south. The thrust offsets in other photos at this site are related to localized disruption of the stream bed. Site PH101, km 297.0. Photo by P. Haeussler.
Additional small northeast-vergent thrust fault along Cooper Creek. The roughly 0.5-m-thick section of frozen gravels can be seen. Offset here is 0.65 +/- 0.25m, right-lateral, and 0.25 +/- 0.1m, up to the south. The thrust offsets at this site are related to localized disruption of the stream bed. Site PH101, km 297.0. Thrust fault offset of 1.2m along Cooper Creek. Note that the frozen alluvial sand and gravel is thrust over the snow covered surface of the creek bottom. Offset measured here was 1.2m (northeast vergent), but other measurements of thrust offset here were 0.6-0.7m. P. Craw for scale. Site PH101, km 297.0. Photo by P. Haeussler.
