Cracks with 0.05 +/- 0.05m of north-side-up displacement along the trace of the Denali fault west of the 2002 epicenter near the West Fork Glacier. Cracks are discontinuous for 100-200m along the base, and across the face, of a 1- to 2-m-high north-side-up, east-west trending paleoscarp. Westernmost location of cracking observed in July 2003. There is abundant geomorphic evidence in the area of prehistoric right-lateral offsets of 0.5-8m along the Denali fault trace. Site SGSP10, km -2.36. Photo by S. Personius.
