Electronic Supplement to
Earthquake Stress Drops and Inferred Fault Strength on the Hayward Fault, East San Francisco Bay, California

by Jeanne L. Hardebeck and Allegra Aron

This electronic supplement includes a data table of the source parameters determined for 529 earthquakes, M1.0-4.2, occurring during 1/1/1998-12/31/2007, in the east San Francisco Bay, California.

Table 1. Source parameters. The columns are as follows:

ID: The NCEDC event ID number.

lat, lon, dep: The earthquake location (depth in km), found using the 3D velocity model of Hardebeck et al. (2007).

mag: The NCEDC catalog magnitude.

fc: The corner frequency, in Hz.

Ds: The stress drop, in Pa (= 1e-6 MPa or 1e-5 bar).
