Electronic Supplement to
A Historical Review of Induced Earthquakes in Texas

by Cliff Frohlich, Heather DeShon, Brian Stump, Chris Hayward, Matt Hornbach, and Jacob I. Walter

This electronic supplement contains the earthquake catalogs and a figure of focal mechanisms.

Figure

Figure S1. Focal mechanisms reported for Texas earthquakes. The figure presents beach ball plots of the focal mechanisms in Table S3.

Tables

Table S1. Catalog of Texas earthquakes having magnitude 3 or greater. This table includes locations for all historical Texas earthquakes having reported magnitudes greater than or equal to 3.0. Events shown in bold are included in Table S3.

Table S2. Catalog of Texas earthquakes, scored to assess whether the event may be induced. In this table, we apply the questions proposed in Appendix 1 of the main article, and evaluate the strength of evidence indicating whether the earthquakes in Table S1 are induced.

Table S3. Compilation of focal mechanisms and moment tensors reported for Texas earthquakes. This table includes all available focal mechanisms for the earthquakes in Tables S1 (bold) and S2.

Table S4 [Plain Text Comma-separated Values; 25 KB]. To facilitate use by others, this is a comma-separated-value (csv) formatted table that merges together all the information in Tables S1 and S2.
