13 July 2023 — The SSA community is invited to participate in a survey to identify the professional background and experience of those who engage with the Society.
Member participation is at the heart of all successful SSA programs. We encourage participation in the process so that we are best equipped to meet the needs of our diverse community who live in more than 80 countries worldwide.
The anonymous survey is optional, and for those who choose to participate, the responses will help provide more information about our community and inform the development of future SSA programming and activities.
The survey is brief, requiring about about 10 minutes to answer all the questions. Developed and administered by the American Geosciences Institute’s Workforce Program, the survey responses will be stored in a secure database to guarantee the privacy of responses. There are no identifying connections between the email invitation to participate in this survey and membership at SSA. No questions request personal contact or similar details, and there will be no public reporting of results which can allow for identifying individual respondents.
