The conference will be held at the Westin Bayshore hotel. SSA has arranged for discounted hotel rooms for attendees at $309 CAD per night (which is roughly $227 in US dollars, as of 8 September). Reserve your room today.
SSA has a room block of discounted rooms. When making your reservation, if hotel website indicates that the room block is full for the dates that you have requested, please contact us immediately by writing abstracts@seismosoc.org or call 510-525-5474. When contacting us, please include the reservation dates (arrival and departure).
Don’t delay making your reservations. Reservations received after 15 September 2023, or after SSA’s block has been filled (whichever comes first) are subject to availability and prevailing rates.

Travel Grants:
SSA will provide two travel grants. Eligibility requirements include early-career or student membership in the Society. The travel grants will provide complimentary registration and $1,000 cash. The application period is now closed.
Visa letters:
Wait times to receive a visa have increased for some. In order to support those who require a visa to participate in the meeting, SSA will provide a letter of support now. While typically, SSA would require confirmation of an accepted abstract or paid registration, a letter of intent to submit an abstract and/or SSA membership will suffice for this meeting.
